Third SHIFT Sounding Board Meeting

The third SHIFT Sounding Board Meeting took place on 22 November 2023 and focused on Pillar C. The project managers of the three sub-projects C.1, C.2 and C.3 presented their innovative approaches.

Elke Bruker-Kley presented the use of virtual reality companions for chronically ill patients in sub-project C.1 - providing exciting insights into the future of self-management. Mark McMahon presented the MRIdle project with reference to C.2, which aims to increase efficiency in radiology departments with the help of AI-based scheduling software. Marcela Ruiz from C.3 also presented the LEMON Assistant, which aims to make the development process for digital health software more efficient.

Following the discussions on the potential and challenges of these technologies, an overview of the developments in the other pillars of the SHIFT project was given.
