Our Transformation Master Plan (TMP) describes the path to becoming a smart hospital in five basic work packages:

  1. The starting point is the joint development of a clear commitment and a positive attitude towards change.
  2. Building on this, the necessary structural and organisational conditions are created – from clear roles and responsibilities to the formation of a central transformation team.
  3. Initial digitalisation steps are tested in a targeted manner through pilot projects that demonstrate tangible successes and build trust.
  4. The lessons learned are then scaled up on a broad basis and anchored throughout the hospital through training and change formats.
  5. To ensure that this development is sustainable in the long term, SHIFT also supports the sustainable securing of change, for example through modern management approaches, continuous innovation impulses and regular culture checks.
  6. This creates an honest, needs-based transformation path that shows hospitals the way to becoming smart, future-proof organisations.
